About Us...

Coach House Holiday Cottages consist of two self-catering ground floor courtyard cottages, East Court and West Court. They form part of the original red sandstone coach house, a Grade 2 Listed building, dating back to 1862, and are adjacent to the owners splendid Coach House Swiss Restaurant.

Set in open countryside with nearby wood, this is the perfect place for a peaceful break in rural surroundings with self-catering complimented with tasty meals from the neighbouring restaurant. The properties are approached by a long driveway lined with an abundance of rhododendrons, just off the main Carlisle to Cockermouth road (A595).

Mealsgate is a hamlet, 15 miles from Keswick, 10 miles from Cockermouth and 12 miles from the historic Cathedral City of Carlisle. We are ideally placed to explore the Lake District.

Both cottages form part of an attractive property set in it's own grounds and have recently been tastefully renovated and furnished to a high standard. They provide comfortable, centrally heated accommodation for couples or a small family.
