How to Find Us...

The Coach House Swiss Restaurant is situated just south of the village of Mealsgate on the northern edge of the Lake District National Park, but with easy access to Carlisle, Cockermouth and Keswick.

From the North - Carlisle:

1. Take the A595 out of Carlisle toward Cockermouth and Workington. Mealsgate is on this road, about 15 miles from the centre of Carlisle.
   
   
2. Pass through the village and continue for 0.25 miles. The driveway to the restaurant is on your right - look out for the sign.
   
   
3. The restaurant is approx. 300 yards at the end of the driveway. Look out for the Clocktower.

From the South - Keswick:

1. Take the A591 from Keswick towards Carlisle for 13 miles.
   
   
2. At the T-junction at Bothel, turn right onto the A595.
   
   
3. Mealsgate is 3 miles beyond this junction.
   
   
4. The Coach House Restaurant is located on the left, about 0.25miles before Mealsgate - look out for our sign.
   
   
5. Follow the driveway until you reach the Coach House Swiss Restaurant - look out for the clock tower.

From the West - Cockermouth:

1. Take the A595 from Cockermouth By-Pass towards Carlisle.
   
   
2. Continue through Bothel (7 miles)
   
   
3. Continue from (3) from Keswick above.
